All of the children's books listed in this section are those that are designed to stimulate and develop a child's skills at interactivity. Although the majority of these entries are of the ever-popular "pop-up" variety, also included are books that feature such novel trademarks as "Lift-and-Look," "Scratch'n'Sniff" and "Mix & Match," as well as those boasting finger puppets, textural or die-cut illustrations, and the like. Due to the construction of many of these interactive books, they can prove to be difficult to find in mid- or high-grade condition, hence the collector demand and high prices, especially with vintage publications.
