Conceived in the first days of the year 1992, Post-Mortem Pre-Op is the flagship project of co-founder Davidian Thrush. Brought into the world kicking and screaming as an experiment in orchestrated noise, PMPO has gradually evolved into a one-man post-industrial rock outfit that continues to document the artist's sonic explorations via his private studio, The Four-Track Abattoir.

Since assuming total creative control, Thrush has taken on the roles of sole composer and performer in addition to taking on the reins of producer. This being said, he now has no one to blame but himself if anything goes awry in the studio.
